Diane McLeod is considered a Master printer with more than 50 years of Printmaking experience in all areas of printing techniques. She pursued her love of this ancient art form after graduating from New York University with an MA in Printmaking and Painting. She has an extensive exhibition record including one person shows, group exhibitions, and invitationals. She has received a great amount of recognition; Foundation Purchase Awards, commissions, other special opportunities and many news write-ups.

Her community service includes being a founding member in 1973 of an all woman, feminist art gallery, WARM, the Women’s Art Registry of Minnesota. She continues to exhibit with them in commemorative exhibitions. She was the recipient of a Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholarship and traveled to Japan, experiencing its Art, Cultural and residents. She was selected for the Long Beach Airport Mural Projects, and her Monoprint became a displayed mural.

In recent years, she served as President of the non-profit art organization, the Los Angeles Printmaking Society (LAPS). McLeod has been the LAPS Foundation President for several years. In that capacity, she organizes annual monetary award competitions for excellent matriculated Printmaking students.
