Women have been a central subject in Diane McLeod's work from the start. She's never settled on a single reason for the pull toward this subject, but the response it draws out — sometimes strong, sometimes quiet — has kept her returning to it across her entire career. Techniques include linoleum, metal plates, monotypes, chine collé, woodcuts, lithographs, and combinations of all of them.
